Southern Turkey and northern Syria were hit by two earthquakes on February 6, 2023. It was one of the deadliest natural disasters of the 21st century, with damage on an unexpectedly large scale, reaching magnitude 7.9. More than 50,000 people were killed.
To help the populations affected by the earthquakes, the setec Foundation responded to the appeal for generosity launched by the Fondation de France and contributed to the Solidarité Turquie – Syrie fund.
A grant of 20,000 euros was released for the Solidarity fund directly supporting local players.
