The Foundation renews its support for the Travail et Vie association!
The Travail et Vie association works to promote integration through economic activity in Paris, with the aim of combating all forms of exclusion. One of its integration workshops is a laundry dedicated to the reintegration of isolated women, historically located on rue Saint Maur, and now relocated to Cap18 in the 18th arrondissement of Paris.
In 2023, the setec Foundation supported the project to scale up the laundry business. It contributed to the purchase of more environmentally-friendly equipment and consumables to improve working conditions for employees.
In 2024, the association once again approached the setec Foundation to continue their transition to a low-carbon and inclusive business. The Foundation responded by participating in the replacement of the thermal linen delivery truck with an electric one. The aim is to completely decarbonize this part of the laundry’s activity, by ensuring laundry transfers by bicycle, cargo bike and electric motorized vehicle.
