Les Ateliers de l’Audace

Les Ateliers de l’Audace is an association based in Lyon whose aim is to train people who have missed out on employment in the bicycle industry. Its social and environmental project has a real impact on the populations of Lyon’s “Quartiers des Politiques de la Ville”.

This project was co-opted by Fabienne Bardin, an employee at setec ITS, who was familiar with the association’s work and wanted to participate in the development of their mobile repair workshop project.

As a result, dozens of bicycles were repaired free of charge, and awareness was raised of repair activities as a means of reintegration, as well as of the importance of soft mobility. Five workshops were held, and Fabienne was able to testify to their success during her field visit in August 2022.
